CAQ "approval" is sent in e-mail. You can use it to apply Study Permit.
CAQ is sent as a paper document, with copy to Canada High Commission in your country.
If usually takes two-three weeks for CAQ paper to arrive.
You can call Quebec immigration if you know French.

I applied for my visa on June 12th, on August 6th I got medical approval, from then I didn't get any update on my file.
Did anyone face this kind of issue?
I don't know what to do my classes are commencing by this month end.

Came through India Post.
It had the approval letter and CAQ.
The papers were folded in third; and looked like any other air mail (105mm x 241mm).

How much time it takes from the day of CAQ approval to the day you received by hand

I was NOT worried about CAQ because one can apply for study permit with approval letter received in email.

Received in paper by end of July.

Yeah that's correct. I applied for my visa on June 12th, medicals approved by August 6th, from then I haven't get any update on my file. My classes are going to start by this month end. Donno what to do.

Guys, I just got my CAQ!
Here's my complete time line:
March 27: Acknowledgement of receipt of your application
March 27: Confirmation of payment
March 28: Opening of your file
(April 8: Canada Post confirmed that my documents were delivered)
June 5: 2020-04-08 Receipt of your documents
June 7: Issue of your CAQ for studies

The receipt of your document saying like this ? "We have received your documents. Their compliance will be reviewed as soon as possible, according to the order in which the applications were received. " ?

You will not get CAQ if you applied to one of the suspended colleges.

Then you are fortunate. Processing is around 8 weeks for CAQ and months depending on where you live for study permit.
