There is no such thing as a "stamping" its called affixing the TRV. We need to be accurate with immigration terms. Once the TRV is printed it will revert. Rap on the knuckles.Yes final approval says your application has been approved and i recieved opr but eligibility shows “we are reviewing your eligibility” and background check shows “ we are processing your background check”
not sure! Just call them and confirm. If you're an Indian passport holder and traveling from India too, then I would suggest Air India direct flight. Many people have taken that flight. So, much safer imo.does british airways allows students to go to canada?
Hi @computerscience23 you were right. I got POE same as you with wp mentioned. I also applied with coop program.Yeah that's normal! Once you're gonna send your passport to them, they will put counterfoil and that's when your application will be finalized.
What is cohnterfoil on passporrt?I guess as long as you have counterfoil in your passport, you're good to go. I have travelled from India to Canada and vice versa with layovers all over the Europe and not once, they asked for POE or even actual study permit. They always asked me for counterfoil on passport.
How do I contact IRCC? It’s best to have thsi reply and go just IncaseFor those who haven't received the POE / correspondence letter on their GCKey after stamping, don't worry about it. I mean it is good to have but not compulsory. If you have already booked flights then don't cancel it just because you haven't received POE. I contacted IRCC Delhi regarding this and got this reply:
Thank you for your email. This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Migration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.
Port of Entry introduction letter is not required for you to travel to Canada. The information about your permit is in our global computer system and can be accessed by immigration officials in Canada. Please proceed to travel to Canada within the validity of the visa placed in your passport, your permit will be issued upon your arrival in Canada.

Gist of the email is that POE is not required to travel and the border officers already have access to your details. Moreover, I double checked this with Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) too. Cheers!
I reached Canada this morning with no problems. Immigration took 5 minutes. They didn't even ask me for POE. Just saw the TRV on my passport and asked me to get my permits from immigration section. I went there and my permits were already printed. They gave them to me without asking any question. I'll share my detailed experience in a new post soon.Hi @computerscience23 you were right. I received my passport with student visa but my GCKey does not show a counterfoil or a POE letter. What do I do? I have contacted the Visa office multiple times but they don't respond. I have my tickets booked.
