did you submit the Bio? if not don't try that, Im facing the same situation

So can we travel and stamp from our ho e country? Or can we travel and send passport to Canada to be stamped and then have it courierd back to home country? Will this work?

yes, but it take time. if you bio then it take less than my friend. for him it take around 6-7 months

I applied on 1st of December I got my passport request today on 30 December.
I filled the webform on 7th if December!!
hope u guys get your passport request soon!!

I have a question
Can I send my passport here to canada from india with my friend & once he gets it back after stamping he can courier me back?
I have my flight on 7th of january...

I would suggest that don’t take risk for your passport. The better option is postpone your flight and get the stamp done while you are in Canada.

Congratulations!! What did u mention in webform? I’m in same situation want to travel india asap. Is your biometrics is done?

I said that I have family emergency as my father is sick.
Also if u r applying from canada u r exempt from giving biometrics(thats wht I’ve heard plus they didn’t ask for mine).

congratulations and thanks for responding . Are you on a study permit ? Or a work permit? Just so we can place how long they take depending on status. Also how long did wait for your passport request after the eligibility review started please? I applied Dec 4 so this gave me good morale
