Work permit delay in visa processing

Hello guys,
I have applied for work permit under Global Talent Stream on November 10th from Malaysia. I'm Indian citizen and currently working in Malaysia on a work permit for more than 1 year. I just wanted to ask if a police clearance certificate is required to send with an application? (my application has been sent online from Canada based lawyer). If yes then do I need to send both country's police certificates India and Malaysia(working for more than 6 months here)? I have already attached PCC from Malaysia but I didn't attach Indian PCC. As I'm still waiting to process my application as it takes a longer time but I'm just curious if it's required for both countries?
Please if anyone can answer with approved WP for GTS program or any experts. I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

I am not sure if you require PCC for Work Permit. I did not have to. I am an Indian citizen, currently working in the USA for the last couple of years. But if IRCC has asked you to provide then it has to be from both countries.Hello guys,

Thanks for letting me know. I haven't got any update and neither IRCC officer has asked me anything yet. It's been 6 weeks file has been submitted but my lawyer asked me to send PCC but I didn't know it has to be from both countries or only current so I just sent the current one(from Malaysia). So, I'm not sure will they ask me for Indian PCC in additional documents or not if yes then it would be better if I'm prepared before, or else it will delay more!
You need to provide PCC for any country you have stayed for 6 months in a roll, either you are a citizen of that country or a temporary resident ( worker)Hey Jayant,

Medical passed: Oct 6th 2020
biometrics October 20th 2020
BVL: October 26th 2020
When i called ircc agent said all assessments has been passed on the same day when i got BVL.
so in nutshell its been 63 days since eveything is passed and received BVL.
it seems decision has been made on my application but then what preventing them to release decision letter?
what can be done at this point. Ordered GCMS already on November 30th. Waiting for it.
Will sending webform will help to escalate the process?
I seriously don’t get if you can complete entire processing including what’s stopping them to finalize application?

As my application submitted in March2020 for one year work permit, When will my Visa span starts if approves as March is near ,Suppose i'm getting visa approval in JAN ,will my Visa get expire in March2021 ?

i am not sure but work permit gets issued at port of entry so may be work permit date starts from there,you get TRV stamp for entry purposes on your passport will have date they made final decision on your application example in my case its OCT 26th. Urs open or close WP, when you got BVL? Did you try calling them whats your status of assessments?

My file was applied by agent and I don't know on BVL... only biometric part which already done in March and additional document request fulfill in Sep.. After that there is no update..Please share your visa timeline? when did you get BVL, everything passed on your file from an assessment point of view?

However I have applied for PCC in malaysia since it takes min 20 days to get it.
Can you please share your visa timeline?This is really frustating ,We have raised two webform however only received reply at once which was generic response.
Medical also going to expire soon not sure if i will have to give medical again.
