Hello everyone

I am filling the documents for citizenship, and in one of the questions, they asked about status before becoming a PR and the dates, I was international student then i got work permit ( I applied via spouse sponsorship so i got temporary work permit when I sent the PR application ) I lost my work permit so while I know in which month i got the work permit , i don't know the exact date( day ) , can someone please advise me what to do in this situation ?

You can try calling the IRCC and see if they can access your records or point you in the right direction. Even if you don’t have the work permit, they do have the record in their system.
If you can’t find the exact day, you can put down the month and year you had your permit. Add a letter of explanation explaining the situation. It is extremely common for permits to be removed from passports as they get renwed or people change jobs. So, this isn’t a unique situation for them.
