I got my application status updated to application / profile update for some time last night. But today in the morning when I checked it's back to submitted.

Can anyone pls explain ?

That's a ghost update. Where it shows application updated but then it will change back to submitted once you login.

It's usually a sign of movement in your file, so it's a positive thing.

Not really, just that some people complain abt having some officers(similar) being slow

March 1st, all approved since Sep. based on gcms notes, emailed Ottawa vo and raised couple webforms, no progress, FSW Outland.

Have a request for Biometrics submission, but VAC's are not open in Chennai. My Medicals expire in Mar 2021.

Thats true because i have same issue and ottawa office is worst in processing because all in my surroundings got their copr even from may batch but their file was in Edmonton

Hi, Anyone received COPR's in the month of Nov and Dec for March AOR's. I am from 11th March AOR and yet get through "BG" checks (Criminality: for ever in progress; Security: Not started). There is no updates on file as per CIC Agent. At times, i feel, if March AOR applications was on HOLD and none is touching/looking at them.

Absolutely. I can understand, every application is unique and can't be compared. But, i feel somewhere transparency is missing with whole process and might need good governance here. The entire process will take time, agree, but not like "no updates for months". At the moment, we can't do anything rather than just wait. IRCC should seek public feedback on ways to improve their process to build better immigration framework which is bound to timelines and transparency for applicants/officers. I wish everyone Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2021! Stay Safe and take care of you and your family/friends!

Estimated completion- September 21st
Biometrics submitted- October 2nd
Today is 23 December. Other than biometrics and medical, nothing is updated.
