Last year we submitted a double application to Ircc.
1. An extension of status and restoration, along with a work permit

2. We wait for Pr family sponsorship
In August we got notice work permit and restoration was approved awesome!
In December 2020 a year later after we submitted we got our biometrics and medical and submitted these right away.
Because so much time has passed with this pandemic it has a lot of thoughts running around in our minds and hearts.
Curious to know if ircc looks at applications before biometrics or only after they get these. I'm just scared something is missing or wrong and we'll get a return back to us and I'm getting paranoid because it's been a year and such a slow. Exhausting process. Husband hasn't seen family in 2 years while we waited for things to be approved and extended so its been mentally hard. Just hoping to hear some experiences on how these applications are looked at.
I literally think I'd cry if the package was returned a year later. Any idea on this would help us so much.
