Hi All,

The current status of my profile changed from 'APPROVED' to 'SUBMITTED' this morning.
My old COPR details have been removed.
Review of medical results now says - You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.

My VO is OTTAWA.
My COPR & PRV Expired on July 07, 2020.
I raised 3 webforms, in OCT, NOV and DEC.
Country of Residence: USA
I have not been asked to do medicals again yet.

I do not know the next steps and the timeline from here on. Have read mixed stories on this forum to draw any conclusions.

Any insights on the next steps appreciated.

Thanks

Anyone with May COPR expiry still waiting? I still have not received any communication from them. Feeling so lost :(
I've sent 4 webforms so far!
I’m in the same boat as you. I’ve sent them numerous rtt and just the other day they sent me a form IMM 5801E. So I talked to my lawyer and they told me it’s a good sign.

Anyone here currently in US , who have received COPR extension and Authorization letter over email ? How long did it take to receive AL after online profile updates with new counterfoil number and validity ? I have my profile updated with New counterfoil number on Friday , still there is no email regarding AL or asking for remeds / passport request . How does it work from here ? Anyone has any heads up ?

Hi guys, I've just got the AL (email) as below:

As your application for permanent residence was approved on or before March 18, 2020, you are exempt from the travel restrictions.
As your CoPR and PR visa *******************************

I'm gonna need your help for my two following questions:

1. Actually my COPR and PR visa expired on Sep 09 2020 ( not Jul 29 2020 as stated in the AL). Is there any problem using this AL to travel if the expiry date is not correct ? Should I contact IRCC about this ( to extend the validity of the AL) ?

2. It is clearly stated in the AL email that IRCC won't issue PPR or new COPR to me anymore. However, right after that I received a new counterfoil in my IRCC account which is valid until 31 Jan 2021, does that mean PPR is coming ?

Many thanks, guys.

Also - @13nitinsharma you might want to do the same in your response in the quote :)

I like how folks look after each other here - that's Canadianism for y'all!

Wait?

There are couple of ways you could go. Those are listed in thread i started.
https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/copr-travel-authorization.713224/

Mainly exempted job is the best bet right now however there is nothing solid about traveling.

We all are hoping some change until current travel restrictions maybe lifted after 21st jan atleast for copr holders post march 2020. However with this 2nd wave it's worrying.
Thank you. I will check that. Its very hard to secure job for outlanders but trying my best.
There is more than 5000+ cases & around 100 death each day. Ontario going into province wide lockdown for about a month after Christmas. I doubt they will lift any travel restriction on 21st Jan update.

Thats a huge concern right now given canada wide restrictions are in place till 21st jan and they might extend it.
