If you have your AOR on your PR application, you can apply for your BOWP come January once your work permit is less than four months from expiring.

Hello all,

I am planing to apply for BOWP as the pandemic hit my employer laid off all employees (only keep family to work). Got my AOR, almost reach 4months till current closed WP expired. I am under PNP.

I'm wondering once i get BOWP and find another employer is it violated my PNP? If so then why PNP applicant eligible for BOWP? how should I do it correctly? I'm laid off for months now, really need to work. My employer still not calling people back yet since March.

Hi all,
I applied for bridging open work permit last week after applying for my PR. However, I did not upload letter of explanation (LOE). I did upload acknowledgment of PR and all other documents but forgot to upload LOE. Is that a problem? Should I be scared ?

Can some one help me
My current closed work permit will expires by Dec 2021 and I have applied for PR and received my "AOR - Acknowledgment of Receipt".
Can I apply for BOWP and shift the company?
Apply for BOWP, 4months before your WP expires. By then I gather your PR would have come through!

Hello, I am an international student and my wife holds an open work permit. Me and my wife applied for Permanent Residency and my wife is the main applicant. Her work permit will expire in 2 months. Is my wife eligible to apply for Bridge Open Work Permit or since I am still student, she has to continue to apply for open work permit as my accompanying?
