Hi all, long time no speak.

We’re coming up on 10 months since an update on our file (passed medical March 12th).

With that being the case we’d like to clarify we’re ok to go ahead with ordering GCMS notes without the assistance of our rep?

He has been reluctant to recommend going down this route as he feels the delays are all COVID related but we’re at a point where we’re losing our mind unsure as to whether our file has even been touched for all that time and need some clarification as to whether things are moving forward or not.

Hope everyone else is holding up and at least some of you folks have seen some light at the end of the tunnel!

Our rep has been reluctant as well. Then again our rep doesn’t believe CPC-M doesn’t process any apps for Indian spouses, nor the existence of Ottawa and has strongly advised not to believe the internet. I’ve reached out to the MP. They haven’t heard back from IRCC yet though.

Am I sane - no. Just smiling on the inside and a complete wreck on the inside.

Hey All my timeline:

Application Rec: Feb 17, 2020
AOR: Feb 27, 2020
SA: March 10
Bio Req: March 10
Medical Req: March 11
Medical Rec: March 25
Bio Completed & Rec: July 28

After that dead silence I have called IRCC twice and both times they confirmed my file is still in Sydney but no word, email or communication about my file being transferred for processing anywhere. I'm wondering whether ordering GCMS notes would be useful or not as I have been told people usually order them after their files been transferred

I'm American with an application stuck at CPC-M. My online account hasn't really been updated since March. I did my eMedical in June, got a copy of my results mailed to me by the doctor, but my ircc account still states that a Medical has been requested and needs to be done.

Finally some activity with my application after 11 months! It was returned to me :-(

One of my children was under 22 at the time I submitted the application - they have not lived with me or been dependent on me financially for a few years and they are not travelling to Canada with me. But, according to the IRCC rules they were dependent at the time the application was submitted so they should have been listed.

The really frustrating thing is that they are now older to 22 so I just need to complete a new IMM 5533 and re-submit.

Medicals are usually uploaded directly by the DR. Since you have a copy send it to IRCC in a web form to ensure they have it but I doubt that that is holding up your app.

It was an eMedical- they directly sent it to IRCC. They just mailed me a copy later. I did however send a webform to ircc a few months back and they replied that it had been received. But my account still shows it missing.

I am pretty sure you are fine since they said they have it. Items in ECAS and GCkey don't seem to be getting updated recently as they normally did before.
