When my application was transferred to NDVO in November 2019 the letter only said “its being forwarded for further processing”.Sorry to POST this post twice. Even if I started this thread years ago I found many members files are sitting in NDvo for 10 months and up even after RECEIVED , I wonder when they will Start Processing?
Does it really mean ND will touch our application (only acknowledge it= received, after like 10 months My best guess "in process " by NDVO. Our app has gone thru "In process" 2 times already, will again show on ECAS in near future! However in our letter here is what (part of) an officer wrote. May please read under lined. I am sure my wife is facing an Interview OR something else. Any one thinks that an Interview is already recommended by Ottawa! Is it up to NDVO to follow 2 months as written in the letter below? or they MUST take it as normal +10-11 months just to look at it?
My TIMELINE is under my SIGNATURES.
Even if I got to VIP but can't understand how NDVO operates! Any experience ? Any reply from any senior/junior will be appreciated :-

Dear :xxxxxxxx
This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. Your application has been transferred to a visa office outside Canada for further review of your eligibility and admissibility for a permanent resident visa.
The Canadian visa office in New Delhi will communicate with you via e-mail. The email you receive will come from email addresses that end in “@international.gc.ca” or “@cic.gc.ca”. Please add these to the “safe senders” list in your email program. You should also check your junk mail folder in your email program and/or in your email website in case important emails get filtered into this folder.
Please note that the visa office in New Delhi cannot respond to case status enquiries at this time. We ask you to be patient and wait until that office contacts you within the next two months. Your patience will permit the visa office to begin work on your application more quickly. "

Thanks a lot budz . I have ordered GCMS But I wanna know if they will really take another 10 months just to touch the file, if u can help here as per experience as wife is crying hearing 2 years more on TOP of 8 months here file was in CanadaHi there! I’ve been involved in this process far too long so can certainly relate and guide you through based on my experiences
a couple of my friends got the same email - not to worry, it doesn’t technically mean you are queued for an Interview. This can simply mean a secondary review is required, such as PCC Check or Eligibility in general (the supporting documents to determine bona fide relation). I would certainly recommend that you order gcms notes in the meantime, you’ll get the notes within 30 days once ordered - you’ll get a better understanding of where your case sits and of course will get to know the internal notes the Officer mentioned as to the reason of transfer to NDVO! Goodluck & Best wishes always

Within 2 months you will hear from Ndvo - advise her not to panic, however, I can certainly relate as this whole ride has been nothing but an emotional roller coaster! However do sure her to hang in there and that you will hear good news in the new yearThanks a lot budz . Oh that’s great! Nothing to worry about my friend, simply means they sent off a request to the RMO (Regional Medical Officer) to have approval to extend your meds validity most likely an additional 6 months! Either the RMO will grant extension or Ndvo will send you re-meds requestHi all!
Question, I raised a webform and received a reply from High commission of Canada (New Delhi).
In the reply they stated and I quote, " Please be advised that medical validity for your application is being re-assessed in order to provide updated validity".
Would someone please elaborate on this? I Am hearing different opinions from different people. Kinda worried.
It is such a nice reply and on phone I told her each word, she is ok now. Thanks 4 encouragementWithin 2 months you will hear from Ndvo - advise her not to panic, however, I can certainly relate as this whole ride has been nothing but an emotional roller coaster!
