Passport stamping : Travel location

Hi guyz,

Kindly help me out as my Passport will be getting stamped in Saudi Arabia, and I may be going to India for my stuff, and would like to travel from India to Canada.

I am in Saudia now, I had applied for my Canada study permit from here, and I received my OPR , now I will be getting the visa stamped on my passport in Saudi , so is it mandatory that I travel from the country where I got my passport visa stamped ? Or can I travel from any country to Canada directly.., I plan to travel from India to Canada..

I have no links , but i do know that once you get the visa , you can travel from anywhere you want.

A Canadian visa on your passport allows you to travel from any country to Canada.
I am not sure how to prove that.
If you want to be convinced, please ask this question to an airline customer care
