I just applied 3 days back for the CAQ only. once I have that I will apply for the study permit.

Hi, I was applied for my PhD study permit for winter 2021 from Ethiopia on November 27,2020 and got refusal on December 15, 2020. I felt heartbroken and don't even know what to do next. Please , any comments are welcomed.

Reason for refusal by Visa officer(my visa was reviewed in China) , I'm not satisfied that you Will leave Canada after your legal stay based on travel history, family tie, personal assets and financial status as stipulated on section 216(1).

I have included in my LOE.: my tuition fee is 8760 CAD (unpaid)and living expenses for Quebec is 11k(unpaid), therefore i demonstrated :- my supervisor granted me 18k/year on behalf of McGill university(attached), My half brother(share the same mother) willing to sponsor me(support letter attached) and he transferred 47kCAD to my bank account, which totaling 65k CAD(my bank letter attached), his bank statement with 59k CAD and business license (attached), family tie I attached my employment letter(signed by CEO) from my working public hospital which stated my annual salary, position, experience and willing to hire me back once I completed my study, and attached my job ID as well as explained on my LOE that I've to come back to my country because of having huge responsibility of take caring my elderly parents and will be getting a better career with top salary in my hometown . Personal assets I attached my landholder certificate worth like 2000000 Ethiopia birr which is nearly 70k CAD(didn't converted in to CAD) and my parents landholder certificate. I'm single and don't have travel history. Please forward me your comments.

Hi, may I ask between your Biometric & BVL did you get any notifications ? when did your review for eligibility start ? You did medicals upfront?
