Marriage certificate for sponsoring spouse

Hi everyone,
I came to Canada as an international student. After studies i worked for one year and now I’m eligible for applying PR. So I went back to India, registered my marriage under special marriage act. Now I’m planning to process PR with my spouse as dependent. I saw few threads here saying they got issues while using special marriage act marriage certificate.
If anyone has gone through similiar situation, kindly help me with your knowledge and experience.

Are you planning to sponsor your spouse or planning to include your spouse in your PR application? Also, why did you register your marriage under special marriage act?

I’m planning to include her in my PR application.
Our wedding function(religious) is planned to organize by mid of next year considering present covid situation and she has to complete her studies as well. So i planned like if i get marriage registered now, i can apply for PR including her and get it approved by the time of wedding function. So that i can bring her to Canada right after that. I could register marriage only under special marriage act since our wedding function is not done yet as per religious way.
