Hi , I’ve had my short hearing yesterday ,it was a virtual hearing ,it took around 1,5 hour and the decision was positive, the board member gave a break for 20minutes after the break she was smiling and told me that my claim was accepted..I wish everyone can get their decision as soon as possible with a positive one..
Congratulations. Was it from home?

After 2 months they are claim
Refugee
Time line
Approve visa in Bangladesh
2018 October
Arrive in Canada 2019 September
Refugee approval 2019 December
They receive work permit 2019 December
M’y father age 64
M’y mother age 58
I m only one son
I’m pr in Canada
I want to know about is how many percent chance for them for pr
please help me
Still waiting for date hearing
They need to get approved as a protected person first. Being an only son has nothing to do with asylum. They have to show that they were persecuted in their home country and their lives were at risk. They also must show that they attempted to seek safety within Bangladesh by relocating, seeking help from police, etc.. Whoever suggested they apply for asylum wasn't giving you good advice.

Are your parents refugee claimant or they are protected person. They first need to wait for their refugee status. After they receive “protected person”. The pr is confirmed after that but the process takes any where around 2-3 years expect delays of COVID. You can do is just wait. Keep calm.
What’s the mean protected person and refugee
