Processing time (online application)

Hi everyone
My visitors visa processing time says 174 days today while it was even more than that few weeks ago. I guess due to Covid situation. If I am applying now my plan is to come visit end of february will I be refused? I had a múltiple entry visa that expire few months ago this year and I have visites Canadá few times by now even with my daugther. Iam Cuban
Any tip as if its good moment to apply?

Do you have family in Canada? If so you need authorization to travel once visa is approved. You can’t travel if you don’t have family here.

My concern is not to come now as I really want to wait until Covid situation has improved. My question is: would I be refused the visa if I apply now that there are so many restrictions or not? I mean are the Covid restrictions a disadvantage at this moment to apply?
I really wanted to take advantage time time and apply now as they are saying in my case I have 174 days of processing time
