Oh that's great!! Congrats! I've heard that for January applicants University has arranged accomodation at the Holiday Inn or college campus. I don't think they've planned anything for May applicants as we don't know if quarantine measures will be in place by then.

I'd suggest connect with the University and ask them before booking the flight.

About the accomodation, I was thinking of taking the mcfleetors for a few months till I figure out what's best. There isn't a lot of information available about best accomodation. Also I thought I'll research and ask around once I get the visa. Currently there has been many visa rejections in india so a little scared.

What's your profile btw? Just want to know because many visa rejections in India had qualifications and program incompatibility problem.

I've aplied by myself as well. Civil engineer 8 years experience. Wanted to study business as its needed for career growth in my field. Explained all this in my SOP but now the trend is worrisome.

What are you planning for accomodation? There is Balmoral and mcfleetors. But Winnipeg isn't that expensive so getting an apartment with some roommates also isn't a bad option.

Don't worry INSHA-ALLAH everything will be fine , I read in some of the other forums that they need people and are giving priority to support workers and students . Let hope for the best . We will see you there soon.

Yeah thats exactly my plan . but finding a place initially is difficult i dont understand the procedure to get an apartment . I am planning for my wife and son to follow me after a couple of months so i would need a separate apartment. Lets see i think i would stay in Mcfeetors and then look for an apartment

Have you secured a visa for them? What are you planning for your wife? SOWP? Or a visitors visa?

SOWP for wife so she can help out with expenses ! Visitor for my son as he is still 4years old. do you know the procedure cause i am having difficulty filling out there forms ! there is no information for bank account on my wife application but they are asking all kind of question in the application for my 4 year old son !!! there is a question how much CAD you are planning to bring with you ! i mean he is just a kid and we did mention he will be travelling with a parent ! i dont understand some of the questions

Sorry for the late response. For SOWP you will have to explain and attach all docs in the SOP. I dont know about kid's application. I think you only have to show money in your or your wife's account for the kid. Dont think they expect his account or something.

If you're with a family, I would suggest to avoid that area.
Not the best of places, specially for a family.

Now with regards to rates, idk the prices for those rooms.

HALA HALA !! thank you ... we would definitely like to have more information ! . I planning to come alone first get a place sorted out and then my family would follow me there ! .

according to the new rules we have to quarantine 14 days on arrival ! do you know anyone who recently arrived and has some info in regards to this . I mean do they really ask you for a quarantine plan !! and if you can explain what to expect at the airport from the officer ! kind of questions documents !?? if you have any information in regards to all this
