Hello
My wife now currently in Canada as international student and she want to apply for PR.
We translate some non-English document in our home country and now she will apply in Canada,
So we must re-translate the documents in Canada again?

Thank you

No, you don't need to re-translate your documents. Translations can be done in your home country or in Canada. They just need to be done by a certified translator.

@masterfire did you apply with the documents translated in your home country and did it work? I watched the same video and was thinking the same thing

@pvelmo I got my PR on July 13th, 2020 with documents translated in my home country (some documents were translated in 2014, some documents were translated in 2020). As long as you follows the instructions of IRCC (for documents translation) you are fine, and you can get your documents to be translated either in Canada or your home town country. Good luck

Thank you so much, and I am glad to hear it!
