Student Permit Applicants from USA( F1, OPT, H1-B), Let's Meet Here

Hello All,

I received my OPR on the 4th December, 2020. My Initial Study Permit Application was submitted from within the United States of America on the 6th May, 2020 I happened to move to India to be with Family in the month of August, 2020. Being an Indian Citizen, would it be alright to submit my passport for stamping to a VFS in India? Any Clue?

Do let me know of any suggestions. Thank you.

sorry there was some typo error in the above comments ..yes i have received PPR and sent my passport to VFS New York but i was wondering when i will get LOI from IRCC?

Congrats, once again, to everyone that has received OPR and got their passport back. It's been real journey of patience. I got the passports of my dependents stamped and returned on Friday last week.My passport was not stamped because I had a visitor visa already. Letter of Introduction and Approval letter for Open Spouse Work Permit were also received in the GCKey.
Since my program for Winter of 2021 is virtual, I will wait till May of 2021 before leaving the USA. Windsor is my destination; will be attending the University of Windsor. Anyone going to Ontario?

Yehh..i am going on 11 Jan 2021 to Ontario (Toronto). I have already started my classes online in sep 2020.
