Hello,
I'm inland bcpnp applicant who got AOR at 22th Aug 2019.
after AOR, I only got PAL this January, no medical request, no biometric request.
I also submitted my work permit extension and received a biometric request for WP.
my biometric appointment is canceled and got an email for cancel and deadline extension letter from service canada.
today I received a Biometrics deadline extension letter from IRCC.
is this letter for my WP? or they sent a biometric request for PR too?
I have an agent so I can't link my application to my cic account.
any idea why I got this mail?

Because of your work permit application, the biometric request will be finished in 30 days before. Now because of COVID-19, the request extended 90 days.

Thanks for reply.
What I don't understand is,
why only I got the email? my wife also applied, and we both got a cancel and extend email from service canada.
why they didn't send this notice mail to my wife?

@legalfalcon
As per IRCC if you are outside Canada, then:

If the biometrics collection site closest to you is closed, we’ll automatically extend your deadline to give your biometrics.

You don’t have to give your biometrics until the sites start offering collection services again. This applies to you, even if your biometrics instruction letter (BIL) says you have 30 or 90 days.

You don’t have to contact us for this extension, and you don’t need a new BIL to make another appointment when sites reopen. Bring your original BIL to your new appointment to show proof of payment.
