I would advise you to contact them. Anyway, you have to take an appointment right? So you could easily inquire about the same and, I really didn’t have any idea that doctors refuse to do upfront medical, sorry!

Not yet. It is painful now. Every call makes like they didn't have any information in their system. It's been 4 months now.

Seems something is wrong, because its almost more than 4.5 months gone, still I didn't get any email from CIC. No email, no AOR...

Are you in Canada? I too was very concerned at how long mine was taking. I called IRCC and they were able to tell me where in the line I was, For example, they told me in July that applications received in February were being processed, so I knew I had some more waiting to do since mine was submitted in April.

I applied on May 4,2020 and receive AOR on November 9,2020
