Hi,
Did you mean that you got approved in your third attempt after you changed your program? You had not mentioned anywhere that you were rejected twice and got approved third time. I’m just inferring this from your writing. Please let me know, my brother recently got rejected and we are devastated. His situation is similar to yours. He has a bachelors degree, 3 yrs of work exp and he chose a diploma program. He even got AIP and started his studies online. We had paid full fee in advance. He has finished half of his program already. Not sure what should we do now.
Thank you in advance.
Call your brother here, I will interview him 1 on 1 to find to diagnose the problem. Highlighting your brotherhood here is not the right way to go about it. What does it have to do with the PA being refused ? Why are you bumping old threads with a 2 minute old account. Lots of red flags.

Create a separate thread and post picture proofs of getting refused after AIP, until you do that no one is going to believe your fantasy story on the internet.
If you’re not going to help, atleast be kind. What did you mean by “ nobody is going to believe in your fancy story” . I’m not wasting my time on this website to tell lies.

Because i’m trying to find a solution. People would have experienced the same situation. I’m going through all threads to see if anything would help but ofcourse i have to deal with people like you who are sitting their to judge and critize instead of being of any help.

There has been not a single legit case of being refused after an AIP. A handful who had got refused after an AIP had a serious irregularity, if you are so affixed to your preconceived notion then why are you so adamant on not providing more information here so that people can share their views. I suspect you were the one who got refused and I think you are now attempting to craft stories so that you can feel better regarding the situation ?

I have no reason to lie and when you don’t have complete information about visa process, stop commenting unnecessarily. Let other people reply, who are there to help not like you. When they will ask me more information, i’ll provide it.
FYI- If you cannot say anything kind, don’t say anything at all.

Did he apply for any type of visa to an another country prior ? Did he hide any previous refusals/history relating to other countries ? (Undisclosed previous applications to other countries ). Please order GCMS notes as soon as possible.

A certificate in the continuing education department at university of Victoria makes no sense. 4 years as an engineer and you want to take a business certificate? It is not even a diploma program. Admission to the program is high school not even for degree or diploma holders. Continuing education is available to anyone. You can take that anywhere. Order GCMS notes.

@Ruby90
That's still a serious irregularity. PA had chosen an undergraduate certificate course after a bachelors degree. It's a business certificate after engineering. I am sorry but the refusal reason matches perfectly. One pattern which I am noting with these refusals are that they come as soon as possible within a week or so after the biometrics were given. My suggestion would be to approach the the university and go for the refund option because the only way to overcome this refusal is to change the course more allied to the PA's background. Godspeed

Just to add that admissions to the certificate program is high school. You don’t need a degree or diploma as it is open to anyone. Refusal was correct decision.

Thank you for the reply. But, university website clearly says that this program is for you if you’re looking for a mid-career opportunity to enhance your professional expertise and want to prepare himself for the leadership roles in the company. The program teaches courses related to business administration and data analytics. It is the only program that provides MBA related exposure but in affordable fees.

Ofcourese it is a certificate program but the courses covered in the program are still relevant. If it was not for him why was he offered letter of acceptance in the first place? Why was he given AIP? He has now completed 50% of the program and now they rejected it.

No, this was his first time. He hasn't applied to any country before. Every single document presented was genuine.

Hi,

I am sorry to hear this. But no need to panic, basically your brother made the same mistake like me. Changing program is not the solution, but changing the level of study is going to get your through the next time. Since your brother has already completed his under grad & has 4 years of work exp, he should definitely go for a masters degree but if you think the fees is very high or unable to find a suitable program, then he should go for a post grad level of program (like an Ontario Graduate Certificate).

I will suggest him to choose a program which is related to his past work experience & draft an exemplary SOP (clearly explaining how the chosen program is going to benefit him in excelling in his profession. Talk about your family ties and why he would return back to India. Talk about the vast job opportunities in that field. Show strong family ties- saving funds, property documents, FD, etc)

I changed the program, but I had work experience in that field so it worked out for me.
