My case status changed to processing started on Dec 4th 2020 , so they accepted all my docs and I met all the requirements ?

Yes your application won't be returned anymore due to missing forms/documents and now you will wait for the next steps which are finger prints request and test invitation which can me months from now.

1) They accepted my English language testing certificate?
2) Days calculator checked from border security ?and accepted ?
3) They do background check again in USA? (I sent my FBI report from states as I stayed more than 6 months in USA)

Hi all,
Today I received email from CIC for me and my daughter, and need additional documents as below.

Our 5 years eligibility date is from 05-May-2015 to 05-May-2020.
For me, I only submit my current passport (begins from 17-Jan-2017 and will expire on 16-Jan-2022) copy together with my application. So they request my old expire passport photocopy to cover all the way back to 05-May-2015.

For my daughter who is 5 years old, she only has 1 passport (begins from 11-June-2015 to 10-June-2020). CIC want explanation or ask me provide old passport which my daughter does not have as she is only 5 years old. For this reason, I wrote explanation letter mention that the date she born 14-Apr-2015 to passport issue date 11-June-2015, we need to prepare birth certificate, and apply passport and my daughter only can get passport on 11-June-2015. I hope CIC accept my application. CIC want explanation about May-05-2015 (application eligibility start date) to 11-June-2015 (which is my daughter passport issue date).
Do you think that will be ok? I am worry about both of us application will delay due to this.
So,
1) I replied to both me and my daughter's email to CIC, cover letter and attached all necessary documents.
2) Also, I attached the same explanation email and the same documents in a web form.
3) CIC ask me to send the necessary documents within 60 days to Citizenship Program (Grants), Case Processing Centre - Sydney, P.O. Box 12000, Sydney NS B1P 7C2 and I already sent all documents with fed-ex today and they will receive after 2 days later.
4) I also sent the same documents for both of us to Dorchester Road address in order to receive faster.

please let me know any ideas and your comments. Initially, I didn’t know that you have to cover all 5 years eligibility period with my old and new passports. If I know early, of course, I will send both passports photocopy.
But for my child, she only has 1 passport as she only 5 years old. Of course, from the day, May-5 2015 to her passport issue date 11-June-2015, she is a citizen of original home country, and I didn’t understand why CIC asked me to submit this information.
I hope all should be ok. Actually, today if all documents are good, I suppose to revive IN PROGRESS status instead of request documents. Anyway, thank you and let me know your thoughts.

Application sent on 11-May-2020 and receive by CIC on 13-May-2020, AOR: 29-Sept-2020, the status now is application received and not yet change to IN PROGRESS status. I hope if CIC accept my old expire passport and explanation letter for daughter to cover 5 years eligibility period, as I replied back to his email, and within this week, I hope it will change to IN PROGRESS status.

Application sent on 11-May-2020 and receive by CIC on 13-May-2020, AOR: 29-Sept-2020, the status now is application received and not yet change to IN PROGRESS status. I hope if CIC accept my old expire passport and explanation letter for daughter to cover 5 years eligibility period, as I replied back to his email, and within this week, I hope it will change to IN PROGRESS status.

consider yourself lucky that they did not send your application back instead. Sending a letter explaining why your daughter's passport did not cover the eligibility period should be fine and sending a copy of your old passport to cover the rest of your eligibility period should be fine too.
