'your action is required' after medical exam 2020

Hi,

I took my medical exam last Nov 24. Hospital submitted my results to IRCC on Nov 27.

Ive been told by the hospital that if theres anything wrong with my medical exam they would call me first, if not, theyd automatically send it to the IRCC.

However, my status in IRCC is still "your action is required". Its Dec 4 now. Is this a glitch? Should I be worried? My school starts in Januarym

Your medical is expired because it has a validity period of 1 year i got a request of medical again as well last month I went again & submitted my medicals again, They updated within a week. You have to go & submit medical again

May i know how it is expired? its only been a week?

In that case, probably your physician has transmitted the results to IRCC but the VO has not updated it on the portal. The best you can do is to send a webform query. Do note that most applicants' medicals are not updated on the portal, including myself, while they got it completed long ago. It's pretty normal these days. Need not worry.

I called my physician just to confirm again, and said they were sure they have submitted it to IRCC last Nov 27. My sister advised me to send a webform query as well so I might do that soon. Im really worried as my school starts in January and I have to be quarantined for several days.

I understand your worry, man. I too face the same issue. I did my medicals via IOM Abuja on Sept 01, 2020, and the result was submitted to IRCC about 2 weeks after. But since then my GCkey hasn't showed any change; it's still showing: "You do not need a medical examination. We'll contact you when this changes."

Meanwhile my classes are also starting January 11, and my application processing time is obviously long overdue: June 16 till now.

you applied on 27 october for jan intake and are worried?
we have been waiting since july.
medical is never updated dont worry about that
people have been waiting since march!!!!!!

no one is getting processed is point august sept any month.

i submitted my Study permit with complete documents with upfront medicals done and same was attached along with my application
after 25 days CIC sent me a form IMM1017_1 asking me to do the medicals. i submitted a webform and its been 28 days i havent heard anything from them.
is there anything i could do please.
