Hi everyone,
I'm relatively new here so please bear with me. I made an account just to ask this question.
I did something kind of stupid. I am an inland CEC applicant but ordered my GCMS notes through getgcms.com as I wasn't aware that inland candidates could order notes for free through the government website. I know, I know...I should've read through everything more carefully and saved my money.
Anyway, what's done is done. I ordered my notes through this third party website on October 17 and have been hit with the 90-day extension, so I haven't received my notes yet. As soon as I realize I could've ordered through the government website (https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/), I went ahead and did that for safekeeping.
My understanding is that ordering GCMS notes has no effect on my PR application. Can somebody please confirm that, other than losing out on $20, this will not affect my application in ANY way? My fear is that I could be accused of misrepresentation, as they could think that I'm out of the country, or an outland candidate pretending to be inland when I have never even left Canada this year. Am I overthinking?
Thanks in advance!
