Documents required for PCC (INDIA)

Hi all,

I received my ITA, and have almost got all my documents uploaded except the PCC for India.
According to the instructions, I am required to send some proofs to the Indian Consulate/ Embassy here in USA in order to get the Police Clearance Certificate.

I had a doubt regarding pt #3 --- is the Indian consulate of Chicago asking me to send my original passport along with the photocopies?

OR

I will be good enough to send the photocopies of the pages mentioned there ?

I tried calling the consulate office this morning, but nobody is answering (assuming because of Covid or something). But i don't want to waste time anymore.
This point is the only blocker for me at the moment. Please suggest.

It looks like they want original passport and photocopies both.
