Did you have Authorization Letter? How did you travel with all these restrictions? Please elaborate.
Hi Yes, I did get an Authorization Letter after getting a PRTD. There were no restrictions for PR holders except you should not have any symptoms of covid before boarding. I had to book non-stop flight because they rejected my Authorization Letter when I booked a ticket with a transit through another country. So, I booked Air Canada from DEL to YVR.

Prior to boarding we had to fill out an arrival form. On arrival the border services officer asked about my status if I was a PR. Confirmed if I had a quarantine place booked. Told me not to go out anywhere for the 14 days.

Transit through another country is tricky at this time so it's better if you book a direct flight with Air Canada or Air India.

No forms for Air Canada. Only Air India were asking for some declaration forms to be submitted. This was in October 2020, but I am not sure about any recent changes.

They will test him. It may be unpleasant but not painful. It is often just a swab just after the entrance of the nose for children.

I have heard that Air India really grills holders of visitor visa ( parents ) before their boarding at Delhi? Just telling that they have exemption as immediate family is not enough. Can someone please share any such experience?
