Hello all, Im about to apply for a study visa. I have no employment gap previously, however, im out of Job since 2 months. Hence, when i apply for study permit holding no job, will there be increase in chance of visa refusal?

Share your full profile. Two months of unemployment don't make you ineligible for a study permit. What matters is your whole application: age, previous education and work experience, program you're applying for in Canada, proof of funds, ties to home, rationale for studying in Canada, etc.

Why a post-graduate diploma and not a master's degree? What does it add to your job prospects in India? Why can't you study there?

Don't worry two months of unemployment won't affect your application just make sure to write a good SOP.

My company and college professors told me that the curriculum of that specific pg diploma is ideal for job growth in india. The masters in india is not providing sufficient practical knowledge. High reputed colleges in india need High end exams like CAT or XMAT and that requires me to leave job for 6 months to 1 year to practice, which i cant afford. The only way to get practical knowledge and deep insight is through this college's pg course.
Please advise.
