Ecas status changed from DM to in process

I had received Ghost Update on August 31 in my GCKEY and than on September 1st the status of application was changed to Decision Made from In Process. Than on September 15 my ecas status changed again to in process from decision made.
As per last web form the IRCC informed me as follows:
"Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
We verified the information on file and can confirm that:

• The background verifications are currently valid.
• The security background verification is currently valid.
• The criminal background verification is currently valid.

While the processing times may vary with each case, we will make all the necessary efforts to finalize the/your application as soon as possible"

I am an Inland Applicant with outland dependents.

I have same situation like you nov 5 decision made but today ecas showing back to in process. What happened with your file?

Then got reply from them that they cannot finalize my Application bec spouse is in india and VAC are closed bec of covid
Next my my agent send them a letter requesting to finalize my application with a proof that in india VAC are now open.
today my ecas showing in process.

Due to your spouse is outland they put your application on hold.

I am also in same boat. My file is on hold due to Outland dependent. I have read in other groups as well. Application with Outland dependent are on hold.

Hi. I would like to ask about this. Last february 26? I got a decision made update in ECAS, then I checked it today. It went back to In Process . Is this normal? Very stange and sketchy thing.

same happened to me last nov i got Dm now it’s in process . it’s because i have outland dependent. do you have any outland dependent??

Yes. It is an outland application. And I am the principal applicant from VO Ottawa. I cant figure out why is this happening? Will they change their decision ? Are we still going to expect to get a passport request.
