Spousal sponsorship for my husband

hello everyone

I hope everyone's keeping well and safe.

I came to canada a few months ago as PR. Now I need to sponsor my husband. While preparing my application, my husband was included as dependent spouse and unaccompanying. He too had his PCC and medical done along with me as suggested by the consultant. When I received my CoPR, it had the same details. My husband's name was there under dependent, relation as spouse and also a different UCI number from mine.

Now that I am applying for his sponsorship, I have a few queries.

1. There are forms which asks for UCI and application number. I believe the application number will be blank because its a new sponsorship application but I am confused with UCI. Can I fill in the same UCI number given in my CoPR for him ( we have different UCI numbers in my CoPR)?

2. My husband's passport will expire in May 2021. Can I submit the application now and later link details of the new passport after he receives it? Is it possible?

3. Is there a specific amount to be shown as proof of funds by me as a sponsor?

1. UCI number remains the same so use the one from his PR app
2. Yes
3. You need to show that you can support yoourselves without government help. Obviously it helps if you can show you are employed.
