Congrats, my timeline and situation is similar but I had my biometrics done in 2019 and Medical didn't pass and got expired recently, @jiggzy do you think decision might be near for SDS July applicants? How do you compare Ottawa's pace these days?? its certainly slower then AbuDhabi

Thank you everyone for the wishes. That means a lot :-) The reason I only posted on this thread is to boost the morals of the other that have very similar situation. Your decisions are around the corner as well now. @Maham malik I know your review started earlier than mine, but if you haven't received a refusal yet then it will most likely heading for approval. Everyone else, just keep pushing yourself ahead and do not lose hope.

Bro, Its surely given us lots of hope now, would my decision be on halt if my medicals are expired? and my Eligibility started the same day that i was given AIP (3rd September), so if it has taken this much time do you think a positive result is coming up?

If you medicals are expired, they most certainly can ask for another medical before issuing you OPR.

Ottawa has ton more applications than Abu Dhabi but both are moving ahead now. Instead of holding applications, they are now issuing BVL, OPRs if DLI is in the list. Its just the matter of time when your application is picked up. There is no certain rule for it. Every application is assigned a BF date (Bring forward date), based on the last review date and the rules then, it may be have been assigned a future date of a month or two. That's why the pattern is random so far. You've seen March/April getting OPRs but then suddenly July, Aug applicants get that update. It all depends on the BF date.

Yes. Its is possible. They can let go of the IELTS and other things, but they may ask you for a fresh medical exam since the last one is now expired.
