Still no PPR. Last time I received GCMS was August and that time status was same as it was in February: Eligibility passed by the officer, criminality in progress (waiting for spouse biometric which she gave a month ago), security Not started. I requested another GCMS end of October but received 90 days extension request by IRCC last Friday.

Our medical is expiring end of January, but I am not sure if it is extended by IRCC. I received two ghost updates on 20 and 21 October, which might have been glitch. The plan was to see from the GCMS if medical is extended by IRCC, if not, go for another medical. But the GCMS is delayed as well with the 90 days request, @legalfalcon what to do?

Processing of some Gcms Notes requests by IRCC is delayed by 60 to 90 days. Web forms is faster than getting Gcms but if you need a copy then request it through CBSA instead and the chances of delays with CBSA are lower. It costs the same whether you request it from IRCC or CBSA.

As per IRCC, In IRCC's fiscal period of 2019-2020, none of the complaints about delays or extensions submitted with Office of the Information Commissioner of Canada against IRCC were well founded. Meaning that complaints and representations about delays are generally ineffectual, though they did serve the purpose of having the commissioner initiate the systemic investigation against IRCC.

No need to worry. Interview selection is sometimes done randomly or because of a minor clarification.

No I did not ask for GCMS notes, I wish I did. I am not sure why they are digging to my files. I was the only applicant. Do you know if this is face to face or online or how long the process takes? Will the questions be the same or related to what we submitted? Any advice is appreciated.

You need order GCMS to see status. Pre COVID-19 world, interview used to be face to face, but now I am not sure.

It will be related to your submitted application, mostly regarding eligibility criteria such as work related, POF, etc...

My friend had an interview to get his eligibility cleared. The lady only asked him a few simple questions. He's now in Canada.

Some applicants are called for an interview and this is normal. An interview I just a informal questions and answers, and usually to ascertain any information missing or incomplete in your application. Most applicants are randomly selected.

Also, requesting GCMS notes would not have helped since if you were called for an interview, the GCMS notes would have redacted the reason for the interview.
