Hello people,
Need advice.
COPR was issued before March 18.
Expired on July 9 2020.
Raised 4 RTT webforms and received only generic replies. No 4 pointer email as well.
I have a 6 month pregnant wife who is my dependent.
What should i do?
Do i inform IRCC that we are expecting. (expected in mid feb)
Or should just wait IRCC to contact me and then ask them to add a member?

PS: We and our doctor have no issue in travelling before the delivery as well.
Hi, I am in the same situation. CoPR expired in Aug-2020; raised 3 RTT webforms and no response at all. Our expected due date is June 2021. And we are ready to risk travelling up until March after which I cant care about IRCC response.
My understanding is that if you add another member to your application, it gets re-opened/assessed and could be roughly another year of processing or more.
But I could be wrong. I am also looking for the exact same answer. Hopefully someone who had previous experience can comment.

Have you informed IRCC about your pregnancy?

it seems they are not issuing any more ALS but waiting for 6 months grace expiry to issue remed request. So in that case we will get a remed issue in Jan 2021 .. what a waste of time ... but happy for you atleast we are hopeful something is in progress
That is awful. People here are ready for the re meds now. Why are want to wait for 6 months?

I think you should inform IRCC about this. Even if you get AL now, you would not prefer to travel at this point of time. So to travel later you would need residency for your child also.

IRCC asking re-medical , next may be police clearance again , they should just tell the truth , that they are waiting for American vaccine, but if they do they will loose business from immigrants!
Oh Canada ! stuck between a rock and hard place !

Yes I raised a web form to inform them but as usual no response.
From other forums I read, you don’t have to do anything if you land there before baby is born and within 7 months.
Sorry, i don't get you. "Within 7 months" what do you mean by this?
I haven't even informed them.

Hi @13nitinsharma and everyone else, could you please help me solve a query? Me and my husband gave our biometrics for Canada last year when he traveled on work permit and I traveled on a temp visa to visit him, do we still have to give our biometrics again for PR?
I am an FSW-O candidate from India, so what will the process be? Has anyone from India receiving PRs? I do not fall under spousal or family category.

Sorry my mistake.....I think you can travel up to 8 months into the pregnancy.
This forum has some info -https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/pregnant-after-copr.636499/

Its best to inform them. But after the baby is born before landing you definitely have to inform and then there is reprocessing of application. I just don’t know how long it takes.

Biometrics are valid for 10 years. You are not required to re-submit biometrics once it's submitted already.
