Yes my school allows me to stay else where but i need to submit the plan to them so they can approve it. But then they recommend the school's plan 90%. My fear is that what is my plan gets rejected or something? Meanwhile the school's plan is so expensive.

Did you hear that there is a pilot testing program now at the airport? If you test negative then you'll be off self-isolation sooner

Unfortunately, it’s impossible unless you have SIN. If you do, then look at online banks like Tangerine

Laundry + Garbage
- How will you deal with laundry and garbage?
If any of us feels sick
- What will you do if you will feel sick?
What is going to happen after self isolation ends
- self-explainatory

I got one way ticket, but people during check-in might force you to get a return ticket

I wonder what else would ground staff require other than a look at the official Canadian government website which clearly explains the travel restrictions. I guess it will be different from country to country and airline to airline. I wonder how much Emirates are up to speed on the new rules for international students.

I did write one on my own, but I didn't need it. Basically all people on the border and while I flew to Canada peeps wanted to see was the completed ArriveCan assessment. Your location must not be a group-living accomodation. The best advice I can give you is to learn which accomodations your particular uni or quarantine place has. For example, in my dorm the security are taking out trash I place outside of the apartment and place my food outside and go back at the safe distance. one of the questions officer asked was about "how are you going to get the food"
