Given that classes are remote and international students will likely be studying outside Canada, what are the rules regarding students working? I know that if the student is in Canada there are restrictions on how many hours can be worked, as well as eligibility requirements that must be met (Work off campus as an international student - Canada.ca).
However, do these same rules apply if the student is residing outside Canada? My classes start online in January and given the almost 12 hour time difference, I would like to extend my current internship while studying. However I've received conflicting information on the matter, with some comments suggesting that students cannot work full-time while studying - period - and others stating that as long as your country of residence allows it, you can work.
Does the IRCC have anything specific regarding this?
