The people getting PR sooner jobs might be on the ‘in demand’ list for a particular province/Canada or be deemed as an essential worker , maybe.

I agree. On their website, they said they're prioritizing essential workers

It's all a mess really. Many people with later AOR's were getting and are still getting biometric appointment phone calls before those who have been waiting longer too. Then I have no idea how they prioritize applications after biometrics/exemption is updated but it definitely doesn't seem like having an earlier AOR means anything at all, if anything it is worse.
