I got an email today saying "SECOND REQUEST":
As of today, we have not received the following documents: PLEASE FIND THE EMAIL WE SENT YOU BELOW.
YOU HAVE 30 DAYS TO RESPOND.
Meanwhile, I sent my documents to them more than a month ago! please has this ever happened to anyone on here? NIAGARA BRO

After you sent the requested documents, did you try calling IRCC to confirm if they received all documents or to listen to your application status?
No, i didn't, I didn't think it was necessary to bother them seeing it was already nearing the end of the process, I didn't think they would make such a big mistake. Maybe I should have. I just got the email this morning, so I'm working with my lawyer to resend the email to them and I will follow up with them tomorrow or Tuesday.
I guess thats where your mistake came from.
The 2nd stage letter always tells you where to send all documents to as seen below from NIAGARA FALLS BRO;

After I got my AIP, I sent the requested documents via email that's what I'm saying, we sent it to this email NiagaraFallsBRO-BRA@cic.gc.ca within the 30 days they requested. They then sent an email today saying "The second Request" We never received your documents. Which is wierd.
Have you or many of your friends been told midwifery practices are full even when you call at the beginning of your pregnancy. I always assumed it was due the the limited amount of midwives until I became interested in immigration. There have been countless women on this forum who have said they have been able to get into a midwifery practice sometimes very late in their pregnancy. In the payment information for midwives their contracts states that they can take on any patient irregardless of their immigration status while OBs require payment if you don't have OHIP. Both are paid via taxpayer through OHIP. I know a midwife so I asked her why so many without OHIP seem to be able to secure a midwife while those without often are rejected. Like the article attached the group of women I know had all struggled to get into a midwife and so had others they knew. She said that they would prefer sending those with OHIP to an OB because they will be able to get free care while they would be concerned that women without OHIP would limit their care due to cost. I asked about means testing because there are many women who would be in a position to pay for their care at the midwife but because they were salaried they didn't want to get involved in payment and means testing and also draw attention to the fact that they were caring for many without OHIP. She also mentioned that midwives often take on extra pregnant women if a women calls their clinic and explains that they don't have OHIP. Believe midwives only take on something like 41 patients a year. If a women has OHIP they say they are full and recommend a local OB. They don't ask if a women has the funds to pay for the care of an OB or have other options like returning home. Some women have travelled to Canada just for birth tourism and secure an OB. The midwife said that their goal was to provide a safe birth no matter what the circumstances were. I get upset because those with OHIP are often not given the option to chose what kind of birth they want or to have a less medicalized pregnancy and birth and more of a connection versus 5 minutes with your OB who doesn't know your name. Other women who have been turned away from a midwifery practice would feel equally confused as to why being a taxpayer puts a women at a disadvantage when it comes to getting the care they want. Think many would want the loophole for non-OHIP holders to get free care if they knew the policy existed. A vaginal birth a doctor costs between 5-10K in Canada so $2250 doesn't make sense. An epidural, the province you give birth in and how many days you spend in hospital influences the price.
don't take it up with me go take it up with the hospital not me, because they have my record that I pay every money that they said I should pay I didn't get anything free. I guess I'm one bless woman and you're one miserable person, that can't see anything good for others, you are a waste of time to even reply to...one thing I'm leaving with you is some of my blessing you need jesus.
