Error in EE profile

I made a minor error in EE profile and got selected. In the education section the question was whether my credential is a Canadian degree and I put yes. In reality I have a foreign degree with ECA.

In the post-ITA application I realized the error and corrected it. There’s no CRS score change because the degree is the same.

Since the CRS score is the same, is that gonna be any problem if I submit? Or should I decline and get another ITA?

I doubt that the points would remain same because the extra points awarded for Canadian degree would have been deducted. Please verify your profile again and check your score in CRS calculator.

Recalculate your CRS. If you have filled your application (eAPR) after ITA, you can check the CRS Score based on your current profile.

If your CRS is above the cutoff for the draw in which you were invited, you can proceed. However, if the score drops below the cut-off, then you will have to decline the ITA, correct the errors in the EE profile and then wait for another draw.

Interesting...

You are right. The score should be different. I double checked with CRS calculator. In my case, 517 with canadian degree and 487 without it. In my ITA letter, the score breakdown matches the score without Canadian degree.

However, when I go to my express entry profile and view history, in question "Was XXX awarded a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate for this period of study?", the answer is indeed YES.

My guess is that it's either a system glitch or it's giving out canadian degree points when both "is canadian degree" and "country of study" are Canada.

Thanks! The score somehow stayed the same (explained above). I guess I will proceed
