Hello all. I have received ITA for Express Entry on Nov 18 2020 and would like some assistance with the documents I need to provide.
A little bit of background, I have a bachelor degree from outside Canada and a Master's degree from Canada - Ontario. After getting my degree I applied for Post Graduate Work Permit and found my current job without needing to apply for LMIA or anything. In my EE profile, I stated that I have a full year of full-time Canadian work experience and for having a job offer, I chose 'YES'.
Now that I am gathering all the documents for ITA, I am a little confused with Employment Records and Letter of Employment. For Employment Record, I can use a letter from my boss and my pay stubs. The letter should have:
  • be an official document printed on company letterhead
  • include your name, the company's contact information (address, telephone number and e-mail address), the signature of your immediate
  • show all positions held while employed at the company
  • include these details: job title, duties/responsibilities, job status (if current job), the dates you worked for the company, the number of work hours per week and your annual salary plus benefits.
Now for Letter of Employment, IRCC says it must include:
  • details such as your tenure with the company
  • your title, position and duties
  • approved vacation periods (if travelling to Canada for holidays), or information about whether the company will cover all your travel expenses (if travelling on business for this company), etc
I don't know if this second letter is for applicants with a LMIA job offer and I am confused about what should I upload. I am starting to think that I have filled out my profile wrong and am worried at the moment. Would you please provide some information about this? I truly appreciate it.

I also got confused before if I’m gonna consider my current job as valid job offer. However, I found out that a valid job offer is an arranged employment (w/ LMIA) or the employer is listed on your work permit. If you are on Pgwp and you want to claim points on this, your employer needs to get LMIA regardless if you’re exempt on needing one. Did you already accepted the ITA?

No I have not done anything yet. Just trying to see what I need to upload. I have 88 days until completing my documents.
So I should choose 'NO' to the question that asks about job offer?

Yes. You should answer No. I heard that if you said Yes to that pre-ITA, you need to decline the offer and submit a new profile. Since you’re not eligible to the points for the job offer anymore. Coz if you’ll accept the ITA where you declare the joboffer, you will need to provide the docs on that, ei. LMIA, or the closed WP. Let’s wait for the others to comment too.
