No, if you get letter from company with required details. And if IRCC ever makes an enquiy with your last employer, they should confirm that you worked for them.

they will confirm that i have worked with them.
Will IRCC makes an enquire about only if i really worked? or even about the conduct etc etc?
Letter has all the details stating start date last date role

IRCC may or may not enquire, no one can say. But even if they enquire it will not be about conduct but about what is written on letter. Don't worry about termination, IRCC is not interested to know how well you performed.

Hi All, Would anyone please advise on below query. Its urgent please.

1. Currently, I am holding closed Work Permit (valid till next year March 21st, 2021) with Employer - IBM Canada.

2. Recently last month On Oct 16, 2020 - my Employer terminated me.

3. So, I am jobless now, but still staying in canada with this Closed Work Permit.

4. Moreover, my PR application is in Progress... My PR e-AOR is on Sep 30, 2020.

Query

1. Another Employer is interested in my Profile & willing to give Job Offer.
But, would you please advise - what step they have to follow to hire me and I can work as soon as possible?

2. Is there anything called LMO?

Your employer needs to apply for a LMIA so you can reapply for a new closed work permit. For your PR application did you include points for a job offer. If so, you can’t count those points.

There is no way to change employers fast. One option would be to try applying for a bridging open work permit based on your PR application and the fact your original employer released you. However you won't be able to work for your new employer until the open work permit is approved which is taking 3-5 months. The other option is for your new employer to get an approved LMIA so that you can apply for a new closed work permit. This will also take many months.

Thank you for your reply.

1. BOWP - this will take time.
2. LMO - its a bit complex & also time consuming process.
3. New Employer told me that they need me in their payroll working offshore atleast for 1 year, then only they can able to file LMIA.

So, all above options got ruled-out.

I still think that there are some changed rules with Immigration, which got introduced recently for foreign workers due to Covid19 situation.
Let me continue checking my luck with any Immigration Layer.

The rules you are referring to were introduced for visitors stuck in the country to seek employment. But they still need a LMIA and closed work permit.

The new rule still requires you to get an approved LMIA.

You need to send in a webform indicating that you are no longer employed and report any changes to your AIP application.
