Also if I submit a supporting document through web-form and receive an email in return that the document has been received and attached to my file, do I still need to make a call to cic and need to make sure it is indeed available for an officer to review?

If you submit any document via webform, and you receive an acknowledgement, then you do not have to call.

I got this email too... I think it's delayed because usually your account is updated and then you receive the email shortly afterwards. But I'm not 100% sure

have you update your family's information: parents, sibling???... If not, this is the information you need to update. Hope it could help.

What do you mean 'proper document'? CIC sent me a request letter. I think mine is the same as the one everybody receives. They mention the name of document and refer to RCMP website to get it done.
