is there any validation for a reference letter by a lawyer? when we consulted an agency they told that before submitting an application for express entry they mentioned about a reference letter and they told that our profile has to be verified by lawyers. they told us that a certain amount of fee has to be paid to the consultancy for verifying our profile by their Lawyers before submission. I haven't seen these steps in the official website for Canada immigration. could anyone clarify on the above mentioned.

You don't have to pay anything to submit an Express Entry profile. The only fees you should pay are to the Government of Canada if you're invited to apply for PR.

If you are going through a consultant, you will have to pay multiple fees upwards of 2-3,000 USD, be it to verify this or complete that. They are going to come up with all kinds of steps to justify the outrageous amount of money that they want to charge you.
If you have the time, this forum has all the tools and answers to allow you to do the process by yourself and for free, except for the IRCC fees.

Could you please suggest or share the tools available in this forum. Also in the whole express entry process is there any need of a lawyer?

No, there's no need for a lawyer unless you want the additional vetting and verification of your application by one. The truth is for most people this is not worth the money they ask. Many people here, including myself, have applied without the use of a consultant and lawyer and have been able to submit successful applications.

However, it's important to be thorough and to ensure you have submitted a complete application.

Here is the completeness check for your application:
