The confirmation I received said my medicals are valid through May next year. I called the border at St Stephens New Brunswick to see if I could cross and they said yes. I wanted to make sure that moving was considered essential and they said yes I could cross into Nova Scotia. I am looking for places to stay. I have a possibility for winter. I'm currently in Maine.

Hi, what email did you receive to confirm your copr?

I received an e-mail from IRCC which is asking to submit my passport. I’m currently in the US. Some of the details are as below.

1. Passport(s) OR photocopy(ies) of passport(s), as explained in Step 2.

2. Two (2) photos of yourself and of each accompanying family member. See our specifications at www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/

3. One pre-paid return envelope.

If I send my passport how long will it take to get it back? Can someone please help if this is what you were also asked?

Hello! That is the email that I received also. I received that email March 6, 2020 and I submitted all my documents on March 14. They received my documents on March 16 and I got my confirmation of permanent residence about three weeks ago.

Yes. It took them that amount of time to process my COPR and send it to me. I'm planning to cross at the end of November.

Are people getting PRs still? I was supposed to get CoPR by July 9, 2020. I know that it is an estimated date and the process might be delayed considering the situation. But I was just wondering if people Showbox jiofi.local.html tplinklogin are still getting CoPRs. Has anyone got PR approval in June or July? Are our applications still being processed?

Sorry , read that as PPR. I didn't know at that time that CoPR comes after the passport submit request.

@divyasajjan I'm in the same boat as you and got an email asking to send my passport to issue a COPR. I'm not very comfortable sending my passport over the border to Canada(I'm in the US) and not being in possession of my passport for 4+ months. What did you end up doing?

We just have 30 days to send it. So I sent it either ways since someone on a different thread assured that he got his passports back in 2-3 weeks. I am still waiting and no update yet. It’s been more than 2 weeks. This is an important step. We can’t risk losing PR, so we have to send.

Hi, sorry to bother you again, but It’s been a month after sending passports and there’s no update yet. Is there any way to contact them to see what’s going on? Did you contact your VO office while waiting to get your passports back?
