Reference letter from Patni

Hi guys,

I worked in patni computers, India ten years back. Patni was acquired by iGATE and later on by Capgemini. Has anyone received reference letters from Capgemini for Patni? Any contact info or directions to proceed further will be helpful

I was in same situation last year. I have been onsite since Patni got acquired by iGATE and later by Capgemini. For visa stamping immigration team provided documents that said Patni aquired by iGATE and other documents regarding iGATE acquisition by Capgemini. Along with those documents - I added my joining letter and current experience letter. HR did not provide roles and responsibilities. I got a colleague to provide the same in notirized letter which also mentioned the acquisition info. The aquisition is a public info and easiliy verifiable. I got my PPR in April - so it worked.

I am also in similar situation. For me, company name on offer letter is 'iGATE patni'. but company name on my relieving/experience letter is 'IGATE'; and IGATE was later acquired by Capgemini.
so, when I request for roles and responsibility letter from Capgemini, shall I ask them to mention the acquisition and change in name of organization?
or shall I ask them to provide separate letter of explanation? Not sure whether they will provide, but just thinking of asking them.

Now my salary slips, relieving letters and experience has Patni name and my Roles and Responsibility letter has Capgemini (recently issued). DO I need to provide any reference letter for a company name change (issued by Capgemini) or LOE letter to CIC for this situation?

Please provide a format for the same, if anyone went through the process and pain. Thanks

I am not sure what other reference letter we can provide. In employment letter I have explained the situation and sequence of acquisitions. To support it, I have provided official media release from Capgemini and weblink to news portal announcing acquisition.
My application is under review currently. Hoping, I wont face issue. :)
