For visa stamping immigration team provided documents that said Patni aquired by iGATE and other documents regarding iGATE acquisition by Capgemini. Along with those documents - I added my joining letter and current experience letter. HR did not provide roles and responsibilities. I got a colleague to provide the same in notirized letter which also mentioned the acquisition info. The aquisition is a public info and easiliy verifiable. so, when I request for roles and responsibility letter from Capgemini, shall I ask them to mention the acquisition and change in name of organization?
or shall I ask them to provide separate letter of explanation? Not sure whether they will provide, but just thinking of asking them.

I am not sure what other reference letter we can provide. In employment letter I have explained the situation and sequence of acquisitions. To support it, I have provided official media release from Capgemini and weblink to news portal announcing acquisition.I was working with Patni computer systems from 2007 to 2009. The company was acquired by iGate and then Capgemini. Now my salary slips, relieving letters and experience has Patni name and my Roles and Responsibility letter has Capgemini (recently issued). DO I need to provide any reference letter for a company name change (issued by Capgemini) or LOE letter to CIC for this situation?

Thanks for your input.Foreign work experience only counts in the last 10 years. If you worked there from 2007 to 2009, it is irrelevant. Don't bother getting documents from them, you're wasting your time.
