Dear friends,
Below is my scenario and the possible options I could think of. Can take a quick look and give me your opinion. You can also list your scenarios so as we learn from each other.
I have recently got my ITA and I'm a bit hesitant about the best way to approach the proof of funds. half of the amount I will get from selling my car. The other half will be given to me by my sister in law because I happen to lend her a sum of money to start her own business a couple of years ago. Now my options are as follow:
1- Get a notarized document stating that she is paying me back my money (knowing that I don't have any official document that proves I lent her this money before, because our relationship is built on trust, so there was no need for that in the past).
2- Get a notarized document stating that she is gifting me the money.
3- Notarized document stating that she is gifting the money to my wife (her sister), then my wife gifts it to me.
4- Give the money to my mother in-law and have her gift me that sum.
4- Sell the car of my wife (although I prefer not doing so if I can since we need at least one car for the family, but if this is the best option for my case I will sell it to prove my funds and buy another one with the money I get from sister in-law).
My question is: which option do you think is the best for me and with the least probability of having my application rejected because of the proof of funds? If you think of any other option please let me know.
Thanks a lot in advance.
