Same Glitch , my progress bar reached 100% 1 week ago, and now the profile shows "Profile/Application Updated" and the portal just hangs after that showing some error. The Last update I got after raising a webform was ,

We verified the information on file and can confirm that:

• The background verifications are currently passed.
• The security background verification has not been initiated.
• The criminal background verification is currently valid.

Is work experience part of Security or Background verification? I mean if background and criminal verifications are valid and passed, what does Security entail? Police certificates?

As per your advice given to me 1 nd half month ago, I tried to contact IRCC thru phone and web form.
I am getting same ans that, all looks good and wait.. etobicoke office is pretty busy.
and also i confirmed with them, there is no movement since from mid august,2020.
i.e. last time they touched my file was 17 August,2020
the following status of my file which is not changed since then,

eligibility :- recommended pass
criminality check :- in progress
security :- not started
bio metrics :- not update in profile. (bio exempted)

what should i do in your opinion.

AOR :- 1 may, 2020.
Inland PNP
Noc :- 0113
biometrics given in november 2019 during WP application.

Do the notes in the Gcms file indicate as to why it may be a recommended pass at this stage? Administrative delays are fairly common as well and hence applicants see a delay with their files.

I have not received webform replies to any of the requests since last 3 weeks. Earlier it was less than 2 weeks. Is this normal?

It's been reported by other users as well that web form responses in some cases are taking longer than usual.

As for the CBSA Gcms Notes, it's a similar process as requesting from IRCC. When you submit the request at https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en select CBSA instead of IRCC and follow the instruction there after. The consent form for CBSA is different from IRCC's and can be obtained from https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/forms-formulaires/bsf745-eng.html

IRCC and CBSA both use the same GCMS system platform and have access to the same information when it comes to the Gcms Notes. While the GCMS platform is the same the extent of redaction taken by IRCC and CBSA for the exact same information varies. There is more info on security in Gcms Notes from CBSA vs IRCC but CBSA on the other hand can/does redact more personal information.

One drawback of requesting from CBSA used to be that they would send the information via postal mail but during the pandemic they send it via email.

Unfortunately you will have to just wait. It seems like everything is fine with your application and you do not need to worry about anything.

They take us longer due to things like how easily we can verify information, how well and how quickly you answer our requests and whether the application is complete."

I just hit the 100% timeline today. Is this message on my profile normal (as in does everyone who pass the 100% timeline get this on their profile) ? or anything to be worried about ? I'm still awaiting on my GCMS notes but the last webform I raised said the following:

• Your application currently meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied.
• The security background verification has not been initiated.
• The criminal background verification has not been initiated.

Don’t worry, it’s some COVID out there, so issuance of PPR is questionable at the moment.

Prepare yourself to wait. Even some October 2019 AORs are not processed yet.

Absolutely everyone has faced the same, you’re not alone. My friend has already been waiting for 560 days and counting.

It is the same for everyone. I have friends with Feb AOR who have been seeing the same message for the last 3+ months.
At this time, all we can do is wait and watch.

I didn’t get an email but I just logged into my account to check (as I do every day lol) and saw it said ‘Application Updated’, but nothing has changed in my profile and now it has changed back to Submitted again. Is this considered a ghost update or is it maybe just a glitch?

People have been saying it’s a glitch all day. I just hope there’s a better explanation that’ll translate to good news for all of us.
