Yaa... Let's hope for them to come up with something that can relieve our anxiety. My score is 475, if i max out ielts i can get 481. Is 475 or 481 a safe score now? I am all but hopeless now.
I would say 478-481 would be a good score by December end. Next 2 draws are very crucial and will certainly give us a great idea about what's in store for all of us in the future.

The way I see it, I dont have numbers for students who went there yearly from 2016-20. Students who went in -19,-20 are not causing a surge risk at this stage considering they are still in College and thus do not have points for canadian experience.

Students before 2016 would have made the PR by now. Students of 2016-2018 would have benefitted and most of them would now have scores between 475-500 (up from 445-470).

Cutoff would stay above 475 unless someone comes with a FSW (Foreign educated) magic wand

That magic wand might come and be shoved where the sun don't shine for FSW...

I think you are spot on. 475 would be the magic number for 1 year now if there's no more policy changes.

As disconcerting as all this is, maybe IRCC intends to start picking more people each draw. It's the only way they'll be able to meet the 400,000+ mark yearly. If that's the case, I feel FSW will have nothing to worry about. Just that ofcourse inlanders will always be their first priority hence the higher scores, the outlanders will follow. I wonder what else IRCC has up their sleeves.. I hope it favours FSW

but from this 600k, more people would apply as they complete education
148k candidates in the pool from 0-1200 from November 4th including the 4500 drawn on November 5th this also includes FST.

Honestly, let's just wait for the next draw. I mean we did permutations with French scores and tons of PNPs flying around at the time and it still landed at 478.

Keep the faith, competition will be tough, but not so bad that FSW will have to lose hope.

They need people in their country and they have to make it attractive enough for people with the right points to come and those with study permits to stay.
