Don't worry, 475+ is fine for now until we see what happens during the next draw. The lowest CEC draw this year was 431 plus the 30 points they are giving out now? Come on, try and relax.
The latest CEC draw on 20 August had a cutoff of 454 with 3300 invitations being rolled out. All these people would been in the pool for less than a month as the previous CEC draw was at 445.. So.. we screwed, unless they have FSW specific draws

Hi guys,
Yesterday I received a NOI from OINP. It was a targeted draw and my occupation was in that list. They sent me the NOI through my EE profile. Should I apply the OINP and accept the offer or wait for the EE general draws? Because I have to pay 1500 CAD just for the application I am a little bit hesitant. My CRS is 469. I would like to listen to your opinions. Thanks in advance

The CIC calculator is so crazy right now. I just tried to simulate my scores as a bilingual, and they gave me 8 points instead of 50 points

Apply the OINP after the next draw.. any additional scope of improving score?

Score will be never come down to below 480. Never. Even it would hit 490.... Almost 90% people will be CEC, PNP and French speaking people. IRCC should clarify their aim. Many of us are wasting time, money efforts etc. I know many people have been struggling to reach 470+ for one year. Now IRCC comes to a point. In this point, people with sitting 470 to 480 would be a wastage. I did not expect that IRCC bypass their target in other way... Feeling nothing. Just having anger on me

After reading your pessimistic comments hear I should definitely apply for OINP. WOW people with 474 are crying here. I don't care wasting 1500 CAD at this point

Frankly, even without the extra points for Canadian education, the cutoff wouldn't have reached 469 before your birthday. So OINP is the best way forward

Then I suggest you take the OINP
it says that I should apply within 45 days. I gathered my documents and will finish uploading hopefully within 14 days. I can wait another 16 days to see the trend of EE draws. If it is desperate than I will go for OINP

Has anyone's profile score increased on account of the additional points for Canadian education? Not the CRS calculator score, but the actual profile score

I will have to pay 1500 CAD just for the application. This bothers me a lot:(((
You can wait, but I believe you will have to spend 1500 CAD ultimately. I remember Express Entry is rather cheap, compared to Australian program (I might be wrong).
