Bilinguals got 50 points, Canadian education gets 30 more (unofficially). The fact still remains they need more people not less. How many CECs are currently in the pool?
As with the previous draw, after this boost it will clear for others.
It is highly unlikely that all 40k (-/+ 10%) candidates in the pool from 430 -500 all have a Canadian degree.

It will take another draw to have clearer picture. Details like : number of CEC candidates, weather there will be a specific draw for them or not . I also know this news will motivate more CEC guys to boss their scores.

With the all program draws that have been happening, they were kinda left out. If this gives them the same opportunity as FSW instead of CEC then i think its okay. They were always going to get through with scores like 438 -450 nonetheless it was a matter of when.

During the pandemic, CEC literally got draws every month.

But the next draw will provide clarity, what a way to end the year.

Keep the faith
Losing the faith man.. I got 472 just after 14th October round.. then out came the bilingual points raising the cutoff to 478. I again gave IELTS and got the score upto 478.. and now comes the Canadian education points..plus there are more than 1000 nominees I guess..

Don't worry, 475+ is fine for now until we see what happens during the next draw. The lowest CEC draw this year was 431 plus the 30 points they are giving out now? Come on, try and relax.

More and more people reporting the same thing, it really looks like this thing is happening.
While the french additional points really didn't affect the crs, I definitely believe this +15/30 points will deeply affect the cutoff. Based on the 2019 report, around 1/3 of all the invitations in the latest draws of 2019 were towards CECs. If we focus entirely only on people with Canadian education, it's 24% of the invitations. Still, a major number (when we compare to the likelihood of less than 2% of candidates with bilinguism).
If people in theirs 460's really get +15 points, then we're really about to see 480+ arriving.
I feel really sorry for the FSWs who fought so hard to get in the 470.

That means only that the last candidate was at 431 (and which was only achieved after more than 10 draws of CEC only invitations, btw). Ignoring the fact that there will be a ton of candidates with Canadian education in theirs 460's is bananas.

If the +15 points becomes official, yes. I don't see how it could possibly drop. About 1/4 of the invitations (before this change) was towards people with Canadian Education, 1/4 is just A LOT when it comes to Express Entry.

CEC guys are so many . The will automatically increase the CRS scores. Will try and rewrite IELTS may be I can get 3 more points to hit 474 b4birthday in December ending. But after that will just hope for PNP to resume for 4214 again when school resumes for teachers.
